Jim Grigsby is a seasoned senior executive with a broad range of industry and operational specialties. Jim has worked with more than 50 business owners and CEOs in his leadership coaching practice, with a focus on leadership development, business and succession planning and caching his clients to tackle the tough issues, reminding them that “you get what you tolerate.”


Jim served previously for ten years as an executive coach with The Alternative Board and at the Harvard Business School.


In his prior career, Jim was Board Chairman of a publicly traded biotech company, and for many years a Division President with CIGNA Corp., heading the national Employee Benefits and Healthcare sales force and then a 20-country international division.

THE GRIGSBY FORUM

The Grigsby Forum is a membership-based executive coaching practice. CEOs or owners of privately held businesses are invited to become members, receiving individual executive coaching from Jim Grigsby and attending monthly or bi-monthly meetings of a Forum group made up of 6-10 other members.


Individual coaching focuses on:

Leadership development following a model based on eleven leadership competencies.

Development of a comprehensive business plan that is used with the senior team to guide the running of the business.

Leadership development and training of the senior team and the emerging leaders of the company.

Dealing with the strategic and tactical issues that invariably arise due to competitive and performance issues or external circumstances that require urgent attention.
